Eleni Varda
MSc Molecular Medicine Graduate
I am Eleni, and I completed the MSc in Molecular Medicine at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (2013–2014), where my thesis explored the Quality of Life of Cypriot Patients with Huntington’s Disease. Since graduating, I have worked as a Scientific Collaborator in a private molecular laboratory, a Research Associate at the Cyprus University of Technology, and I am currently a Biologist in a biotechnology company. My studies at CING provided specialised molecular biology training and hands-on research experience that truly shaped my professional path and allowed me to confidently enter competitive scientific roles. The programme is demanding and requires commitment and consistency, but it prepares you for real-world challenges and opens exciting opportunities. To new students: stay focused, embrace the learning journey, and trust that your hard work will pay off — it’s challenging, but absolutely rewarding.
