MSc Neuroscience Graduate

I first joined CING with excitement and curiosity, not knowing how much the experience would shape my academic interests and future pursuits. My time at the Institute was a profoundly enriching experience. I had long been eager to learn about the human brain, and this program not only addressed many of the questions I had carried for years but also sparked new ones, deepening my curiosity even further. I am immensely thankful to the academic staff and administrators, especially the Education Office, for their kindness and support in facilitating everything for me as an international student. My research in the Neuroimmunology Department gave me an excellent opportunity to grow as a researcher and strengthen my scientific skills. The institute’s commitment and efforts toward research in neurodegenerative and neuromuscular disorders are truly inspiring and personally paradigm-shifting. They have left a lasting impression on me and motivated me to pursue similar avenues in my own career. I will always cherish my time at CING and the professors who inspired me with their knowledge, passion, and guidance. 

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and the institute for the scholarship. Without their generous support and faith in me as the first student from Bahrain, this experience would not have been possible.
