MSc Neuroscience Graduate

I completed the Master’s Programme in Neuroscience at the CING in 2024, where I conducted my research in collaboration with the Bioinformatics Department on “Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Parkinson’s Disease: Investigating Common Molecular Routes and Pathophysiological Links in a Network Medicine Context.” I am currently working as a medical doctor at Arabcare Hospital in Ramallah, Palestine, and as a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah National University in Nablus. Being part of CING was a meaningful chapter in my journey — it shaped how I approach science, teamwork, and critical thinking, and it supported me in moving forward to the next steps in my career. To new students, I would say: stay curious, keep an open line of communication with your supervisors, and don’t hesitate to make use of the supportive community and resources around you — they truly make a difference.
