Tumour Virology Group

Overview

The tumour virology group studies the molecular basis of human papillomavirus (HPV) induced oncogenesis in a range of HPV-associated malignancies, such as cervical cancer and head and neck cancer. Our research focuses on the ability of HPV to re-wire intracellular signalling networks, with a particular interest on the ubiquitination pathway. We are also interested in understanding the impact of HPV on therapeutic responses, aiming to identify ways to enhance clinical outcomes while reducing associated toxicities.
