VACANCY FOR LAB SCIENTIFIC OFFICER

We are looking for a Laboratory Scientific Officer to join the Dementia Centre of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. The position is co-supervised by the Neurophysiology and Neuroepidemiology departments. 

The position is part-time (80%), and it is funded for one year, with possibility of extension.  
 

JOB SUMMARY 

The successful candidate will work in the Project COMFORTAGE (Project Number 101137301) with title: “Prediction, Monitoring and Personalized Recommendations for Prevention and Relief of Dementia and Frailty” of the HORIZON-HLTH-2023-STAYHLTH-01 Call, funded by the European Commission through the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA). Duties involve patient recruitment, performance of EEG studies, data collection and registry curation.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• A BA/BSc or equivalent degree in Psychology or closely related field 
• Strong command of the Greek and/or Turkish and English language
• Good Communication and Organization skills   

MSc in Neuroscience in dementia research and/or experience in Clinical Neurophysiology (performing EEG studies) will be considered as advantage.
