Για 9η χρονιά το Ινστιτούτο Νευρολογίας και Γενετικής Κύπρου διοργανώνει τον διαγωνσιμό γνώσεων CING Genius Genetics QUIZ ύπο την αιγίδα της Διεύθυνσης Μέσης Γενικής Εκπαίδευσης του ΥΠΑΝ. 

Ο διαγωνισμός προσφέρει μια μοναδική ευκαιρία σε μαθητές/τριες Λυκείου (Β’ και Γ’ Λυκείου, δημοσίων και ιδιωτικών σχολείων AS Level και A’ Level) οι οποίοι/ες ενδιαφέρονται για θέματα ανθρώπινης βιολογίας τα οποία άπτονται των δραστηριοτήτων του Ινστιτούτου, να παρακολουθήσουν από πρώτο χέρι τις διαδικασίες διάγνωσης και μελέτης κληρονομικών ασθενειών. Αυτό το έπαθλο θα δώσει την ευκαιρία στους/στις μαθητές/τριες να διεισδύσουν στις πρωτοποριακές διαγνωστικές και ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του Ινστιτούτου, ένα αποκλειστικό προνόμιο των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών/τριών του Ινστιτούτου Νευρολογίας και Γενετικής Κύπρου. Θα απονεμηθεί επίσης Βραβείο Αριστείας στη Βιολογία "Αλέξης Μπάιτελμαν", εις μνήμη του Βιολόγου Αλέξη Μπάιτελμαν, ο οποίος είχε ειδίκευση στην κλινική έρευνα.

Genius Genetics Quiz
For the 9th year, the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is organising the CING Genius Genetics Quiz, under the auspices of the Department of Secondary General Education, Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.

The competition offers an exclusive opportunity to high-school students (AS Level and A’ Level from public and private schools) with an interest in human biology topics which are associated with the activities of the Institute, to win a placement at the CING and experience from first-hand the high calibre work conducted by the Institute’s leading scientists and to be involved in the process of diagnosing and researching hereditary diseases. This prize will give students the opportunity to experience the pioneering diagnostic and research activities of the Institute, an exclusive privilege reserved for the postgraduate students of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. An Award for Excellence in Biology "Alexis Baytelman" will also be presented, in memory of Biologist Alexis Baytelman, who specialized in clinical research.
