• Establishment of a genetic disorders registry in Cyprus
• Adaptation of the current legislation regarding genetics (testing, screening, clinical practice and ethical issues) in Cyprus to conform to European Union standards in conjunction with experts involved in the fields of bioethics Genetic and linguistic factors in the development of speech.
• Establishment of a network in which health professionals, patients and families (who are at risk or are living with genetic conditions)as well as patient associations from both the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities are able to communicate and collaborate in patient care and research.
