    The A.G. Leventis Foundation renewed the grant of 32.000 euros for the "A.G. Leventis" Library of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics for 2009.

  • CING External Evaluation

    The CING has recently gone through an External Evaluation by the External Evaluation Team consisting of eight internationally renowned professors, the results of which were outstanding for the CING. This evaluation procedure proved to be very useful since it provided an external peer review evaluation of our standards that will help us towards achieving our long and short-term goals. It is considered a very useful tool for continuing self-improvement.

  • Agreement with CYTA
    07/01/2009

    CING signed an agreement with CYTA for the provision of a free upgrade of the internet connection from 2 Mbps to an Ethernet connection of 100 Mbps. This service is essential for our scientific activities, e.g video conferences, streaming, etc.

    Dr Costas Pattichis, Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus, Dr Stavros Michael Hadziloizou, Paediatric Neurologist, Dr Paola Nicolaides, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist-Epilepsy Specialist and Dr Costas Michaelides, Neurologist, have been accepted as Visiting Scientists at the Institute, according to the CING Regulations.
