What we do?

Το TELETHON διοργανώνεται από το Ινστιτούτο Νευρολογίας και Γενετικής Κύπρου και τον Σύνδεσμο Μυοπαθών Κύπρου από το 1994.

Στηρίζοντας το TELETHON μας δίνετε την ευκαιρία να προσφέρουμε  καλύτερες συνθήκες ζωής στους Μυοπαθείς συνανθρώπους μας. Εξασφαλίζουμε επίσης πιο ολοκληρωμένες και αποτελεσματικές ιατρικές και παραϊατρικές υπηρεσίες. Mέσα από μια σειρά κοινωνικών προγραμμάτων του Συνδέσμου Μυοπαθών Κύπρου, καταφέρνουμε να αναβαθμίζουμε την ποιότητα ζωής τους. 

Το TELETHON χρηματοδοτεί ακόμα την επιστημονική έρευνα για την εξεύρεση θεραπειών για νευρολογικές και γενετικές παθήσεις. Η επιστημονική έρευνα είναι το σπουδαιότερο μέσο για την εξασφάλιση καλύτερης προοπτικής στον τομέα της υγείας για τις επερχόμενες γενιές.

TELETHON in Cyprus has been organized by The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Cyprus since 1994.

Your support of TELETHON gives us the opportunity to provide a better quality of life for patients suffering with myopathies. We are also able to secure more comprehensive and effective medical and paramedical services. Through a series of socially beneficial programs run by the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Cyprus we manage to upgrade their quality of life.

TELETHON also funds scientific research aimed at finding the most effective treatments for neurological and genetic disorders. Scientific research is the greatest and most effective means of ensuring the best prospects in the healthcare sector for the coming generations.
