About CING POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION

Educating the next generation of scientists

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING), a leading research center in the region has been active in the areas of research, services and education for over three decades. The CING has a highly developed research infrastructure in the sectors of neurology, genetics, biomedical, medical and related sciences. Building on its accumulated experience in education via its collaborations with national and international education institutions for over 30 years, the CING established its postgraduate education provision, offering MSc and PhD programmes in 2012. The CING’s students benefit from a plethora of research opportunities, supported through competitive research grants obtained from national and international funding bodies. The CING’s postgraduate programmes are suitable for graduates with a background in medicine, biological and related sciences, genetics, neuroscience, biomedicine, chemistry and other related fields, who would like to progress to MSc or PhD level.

The CING’s postgraduate programmes have a high ratio of academic staff to students. Our students work side-by-side with our Institute’s experienced scientists and doctors, who constitute the CING Academic Faculty. Emphasis is given on quality education over income, as the postgraduate education provision of the CING is non-profit.
