The department participates actively in educational activities by:
- Teaching course MG104 (Biochemical Basis of Genetic Diseases) for the Medical Genetics course of the CING Postgraduate School
- Supervising thesis projects of PhD students
- Supervising research projects of BSc and MSc students
- Accepting scientists for training in the techniques of Biochemical Genetics
- Accepting students for short-term internships
- Participating in conferences and training programmes in Cyprus and abroad
- Organizing lectures, workshops, educational seminars and conferences in the field of Biochemical Genetics
