As April is the host month of International DNA Day, the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine invite you to an informative presentation on Monday 14th April 2014 at 10a.m. as part of the CSMM’s Open Day for prospective students. The presentation will be headed by the Acting Chief Executive Medical Director of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and Acting Provost of the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine, Professor Leonidas A. Phylactou. The presentation will focus on the recent achievements of the Departments of the Institute and the contribution of the School’s students to the innovative research carried out within each Department.
A tour of the laboratories of the Institute will follow. Throughout the day prospective students will have the opportunity to speak with scientists and faculty members of the Institute and School regarding the four postgraduate programs, as well as attend informative presentations for the MSc and PhD programs in Molecular Medicine and Medical Genetics. Καθώς ο Απρίλιος είναι ο μήνας της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας DNA, το Ινστιτούτο Νευρολογίας και Γενετικής Κύπρου (ΙΝΓΚ) και η Σχολή Μοριακής Ιατρικής Κύπρου (ΣΜΙΚ) σας προσκαλούν σε μια ενημερωτική παρουσίαση στα πλαίσια της Ημέρας Ενημέρωσης για τα μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα της ΣΜΙΚ, τη Δευτέρα 14 Απριλίου 2014 στις 10π.μ. Της παρουσίασης θα ηγηθεί ο Αναπληρωτής Γενικός Εκτελεστικός Ιατρικός Διευθυντής του Ινστιτούτου Νευρολογίας και Γενετικής Κύπρου και Αναπληρωτής Γενικός Διευθυντής της Σχολής Μοριακής Ιατρικής Κύπρου, Καθ. Λεωνίδα Α. Φυλακτού. Η παρουσίαση θα επικεντρωθεί στα πρόσφατα επιτεύγματα των τμημάτων του ΙΝΓΚ και στη συμβολή των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών της Σχολής στους καινοτόμους ερευνητικούς τομείς με τους οποίος ασχολείται το κάθε τμήμα.
Θα ακολουθήσει ξενάγηση στα εργαστήρια του Ινστιτούτου. Κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας θα μπορούν οι ενδιαφερόμενοι υποψήφιοι φοιτητές να συνομιλήσουν με Επιστήμονες και Καθηγητές του Ινστιτούτου και της Σχολής καθώς και να παρακολουθήσουν παρουσιάσεις σχετικά με τα προγράμματα Μοριακής Ιατρικής και Ιατρικής Γενετικής σε επίπεδο MSc και PhD.
