Dear Prospective Student,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING).
The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics, as a Center of Excellence in basic and applied research in biomedical and clinical sciences, combines its three pillars: services, research and education, in order to produce novel knowledge in its areas of specialisation with the aim of upgrading the quality of life of its patients. This has been its scope since its establishment in 1990; to offer high-level services to its patients, to society and to our country as a whole. This will continue to be its purpose.

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics as an academic center operated its postgraduate school in 2012 and since then it has been offering prestigious postgraduate programme studies in its fields of expertise. Meanwhile, our School is in the process of developing new academic programmes in the broad areas of the activities of the Institute. This is a great development for our Institute and School, to expand its scope of interest!

Through our Master and Doctoral programs, our students receive a unique education in the areas of neurology, genetics and biomedical sciences with direct application in the area of Health. Our main advantage is that our students learn how to weave together theory and practice, thus experiencing a real work environment first-hand. Our students contribute and play a vital role in our research programmes. Our students are the next generation of scientists and we are all very proud!

We are committed to ensuring high quality, rigorous academic programmes that will challenge our students. You can explore the academic programmes described in our Prospectus or you may visit our website for more information. You can always get in touch with our Faculty and the Education Office for assistance.
