Education

Our educational activities include various talks (Bioinformatics Journal Club), distinguished seminars (Bioinformatics ERA Chair Lecture Series - https://sites.google.com/view/c-big-distinguished-lectures/), workshops and training schools as well as the new postgraduate course in Bioinformatics for the MSc/PhD programmes of the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine, supervision/mentoring of MSc and PhD students, as well as specialized trainings and internships.

We have organized/co-organized already 5 Bioinformatics-related Workshops and Seminars at CING, 1 EU-COST funded Training School at CING, a Bioinformatics Symposium within EuroMath Conference 2019, the 1st Synthetic Biology (SynBio) Conference in Cyprus in collaboration with iGEM ambassador, two internal C-BIG conferences (https://sites.google.com/view/c-big-icon-2021/, https://sites.google.com/view/c-big-icon-2022/) , as well as many Lab-internal training sessions.
