Ceremony to honour Dr Georgios Papanikolaou
The Greek Embassy in Cyprus and The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics organized a ceremony to honour Dr Georgios Papanikolaou, Inventor of the “Papanikolaou Test” more commonly known as the “Pap-Test”.

New Services by the Department of Biochemical Genetics
The Department of Biochemical Genetics announces the introduction of two new services, measurement of vitamins A and D. These new tests widen the spectrum of vitamins measured in the department which includes vitamins B12 and folate as well as total homocysteine which is closely related to the levels of vitamin B12 and folate.
