Prof Philippos Patsalis is appointed to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. He heads all medical, scientific and other activities of the Foundation and exercises initiatives in all matters pertaining to the overall direction of the Institute, in accordance with the Foundation’s Memorandum of Association.

The Board of Directors consists of 20 members. Ten members, including the President, are representatives of the Cyprus Government (eight are appointed by the Council of Ministers, one by the Ministry of Finance and one by the Ministry of Health). The Scientific Council consists of the Chief Executive Medical Director who is the Chairman of the Scientific Council, the Financial and Administrative Director and the Heads of Departments and Clinics of the Institute.

The International Scientific Advisory Committee consists of 10 internationally-renowned scientists appointed by the Board of Directors.
